The fifth match of the Strike League 50 Over Series will be played between Desert Blaze and Northern Tide on Sunday. Northern Tide have a really good squad this season and are one of the title contenders. They have started the tournament well winning both their matches comfortably. In the previous match against City Cyclones, they chased down a mammoth total of 300 on the back of an unbeaten 150 from opener Douwtjie Hoogenboezem. They will be keen to carry on the momentum.

Desert Blaze suffered a loss in the opening match against City Cyclones but made a good comeback to win their previous match against Southern Storm by 6 wickets. They chased down a target of 192 with more than 14 overs to spare and that will give the batters a much-needed confidence boost. This promises to be a closely fought contest with plenty of match winners across both these teams.
