Desert Vipers (DV) will take on MI Emirates (MIE) in the seventh match of the International League T20. This match will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Each of the six teams will play each other twice in the league stage. The teams that finish in the top two of the table will play Qualifier 1, with the winner advancing to the final. The teams finishing third and fourth will participate in an Eliminator, a knockout fixture. The winner of the Eliminator will then play the losing team of Qualifier 1 to decide the second finalist. Dubai will host Qualifier 1 and the final, Abu Dhabi the eliminator while Qualifier 2 will take place in Sharjah.

The tournament will run till February 9 with a total of 34 games - 30 league games, two qualifiers, one eliminator and a final. This is the same as the last two seasons. Sharjah and Abu Dhabi are the other two venues. Desert Vipers are the tablel toppers with two wins in two matches. While MI Emirates have one win and a loss in two matches and are placed second in the table. 

Desert Vipers won the previous match against Gulf Giants by six wickets. They bowled out Gulf for mere 119 and chased it down quite comfortably with more than two overs spare. On the other hand, MI Emirates won the last game against Dubai Capitals by 26 runs. MI Emiratesput up 187 batting first and restricted the Capitals to 161. This promises to be a thrilling match between these two sides.
