Eastern Cape will face Limpopo in the fourth match of the CSA T20 Knock Out Competition 2024 on Tuesday, September 24, at the Buffalo Park in East London. The tournament is the renamed version of the CSA Provincial T20 Cup and took place for the first time in 2019. The latest edition of the tournament was organized in March-April this year. It is the fifth edition of the tournament. It will be the first game of the season for Eastern Cape, while Limpopo, the defending champions will be featuring in their second game of the season.

Eastern Cape won and lost three matches each last season and finished in fourth place in the points table. They faced Limpopo in the first semi-final game and lost the same by 17 runs. 

Limpopo faced the Tuskers in their first outing this season and elected to bowl after winning the toss. Tuskers scored 162 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Morne Venter, Atwell Mokgoloboto, Don Radebe, and Kaaudisa Molefe took one wicket each for Limpopo. Limpopo were bundled out for 89 runs in 16.5 overs and lost the match by 73 runs. Daniel van der Merwe was the only batter to breach the 20-run mark and scored 34 runs off 29 deliveries for the team.
