England and Afghanistan will play the 14th game of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Saturday (October 22) at the Perth Stadium. They have played two T20I matches against each other which have come in the World Cup only and England have won both these matches. England defeated Pakistan comfortably in the warm-up game by six wickets. They defeated Australia and Pakistan in the last two bilateral series and have assembled a strong squad.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, will be playing their first T20I game since their Asia Cup stint and will be looking to deliver some extraordinary performance in this tournament. They defeated Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the group stage of the Asia Cup and managed to win the warm-up game against Bangladesh as well. The likes of Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz played in the Caribbean Premier League last month and will be the key players for the team both in this game as well as the tournament going forward.

Player Picks
Jos Buttler ENG | WK
This will be the first ICC tournament for Jos Buttler as the full-time captain of the English team. He sustained an injury during The Hundred tournament and missed a few matches. He made his long-awaited return against Australia this month and scored two half-centuries in the three-match series.
Alex Hales ENG | BAT
He made his return to the English side after getting sidelined for more than two years. In nine matches since his return, Hales has made 218 runs at an average of 24.22 and a strike rate of 143.42 including two half-centuries.
Dawid Malan ENG | BAT
He has made two half-centuries in his last five outings for England. He has made 453 runs in 15 T20Is this year at an average of 34.84 and is the second-highest run-scorer for the team.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Harry Brook
ENG | BAT
He made 238 runs in the seven-match T20I series against Pakistan at an average of 79.33 and finished as the leading run-scorer for the team. However, with Liam Livingstone back in the squad, Brook might have to sit out in this game.
Usman Ghani
AFG | BAT
The 25-year-old batter has scored 154 runs in seven matches this year at a strike rate of 104.76. There are some other batters on both sides who have been in great form recently, hence, you can avoid picking him in your fantasy team for this game.
