England (ENG) will take on Australia (AUS) in the third T20I of the three-match series on Sunday, September 15, at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester. Both teams have won one match each in the series. England and Australia will play a five-match ODI series. The first match is scheduled to be played on Thursday, September 19.

In the second T20I, England won the toss and elected to bowl. Jake Fraser-McGurk led Australia’s batting attack with his knock of 50 runs off 31 deliveries. Josh Inglis contributed 42 runs off 26 deliveries. Australia finished with 193 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Brydon Carse and Liam Livingstone took two wickets each for England.

England lost their first two wickets for 34 runs and scored 65 runs in the Powerplay. Philip Salt and Livingstone added 45 runs for the third wicket. Salt was dismissed in the ninth over after scoring 39 runs off 23 deliveries. Livingstone and Jacob Bethell had a match-defining partnership. They added 90 runs for the fourth wicket. England reached the target of 194 runs in 19 overs with three wickets in hand. Matthew Short was the pick of the bowlers for Australia and took five wickets for 22 runs in three overs. Livingstone won the Player of the Match award for his all-round performance.
