Z Games Strikers started decently, and when Safeer Tariq came to bat, he further upped the ante of scoring rate. However, that was the maximum their batting unit had that day, as none of the batters after the top four could even make a double-digit score. They kept losing wickets, and the scoring rate also came down drastically. As a result, they could only post a total of 89 runs for the loss of nine wickets. The Vision Shipping also had a decent start to their chase, but they lost both their openers at a moderate score. Wajid Khan's heroics saved the match for them as he scored fifty off just 13 balls, and they won the match by seven wickets.
