The 2024 CSA Provincial T20 Cup, a Twenty20 cricket tournament organised by Cricket South Africa, is entering the fourth round. The 11th match of the tournament will see Garden Route Badgers (GRB) taking on Border (ECI) on Saturday, March 16 at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn.
The fourth season so far has been promising and expect an electrifying match when the two meet each other. Both teams have played three matches so far and are currently placed at the bottom of the points table. While Border have won one match and gained four points, Badgers are yet to open their account to move from last place in the standings.
GRB opened their campaign with four-wicket defeat to Northern Cape and went on to lose two more matches against Knights and Eastern Storm. Meanwhile, ECI lost their first match by seven runs to Limpopo but bounced back against Storm with a 16-run win. In their most recent encounter against Knights, Border lost by 31 runs and they need to get back on the winning track before things get out of hand.
