Gulf Giants played against Desert Vipers in the first qualifier, where they won the toss and elected to field. Vipers posted a good total of 178 for the loss of seven wickets. The Giants got a decent start when they returned to chase the total but were stopped by a good bowling effort, especially from Tom Curran, who took four wickets. The Giants lost the match by 19 runs, but after finishing top of the table, they have another chance to make it to the finals. On the other hand, Emirates squared off against Dubai Capitals in the Eliminator match, where they won the toss and chose to field. Capitals scored a decent 151 for the loss of five wickets with the help of a half-century from George Munsey. Emirates chased the target quickly with 20 balls remaining and won the match by eight wickets. Fletcher and Pooran starred with the bat for Emirates, remaining unbeaten and scoring respective half-centuries.
