Nathan McSweeney's impactful batting performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
The Sixers faced Sydney Thunder in their last match, Thunder won the toss and opted to bat. They posted a total of 151 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs, with Alex Ross being the top scorer, contributing 44 runs off 39 deliveries. Jack Edwards excelled with the ball for the Sixers, taking three wickets for 24 runs in his four-over spell.
The Sixers began their innings positively, accumulating 34 runs for the loss of one wicket in four overs. However, the match was interrupted due to rain, leading to no result in the end.
