Hong Kong (HK) will face Singapore (SIN) in the second one-day match of the ACC Men's Premier Cup 2023 at Kathmandu's Mulpani Cricket Ground on April 18. Hong Kong won the recent Hong Kong OD Series last month as they beat Kuwait and Malaysia in the four-team tournament at home. The star wicketkeeper batter scored 258 runs from three innings in the series with one century and two half-centuries. The veteran spinner took seven wickets from just three innings, while young pacer Ayush Shukla took six wickets.
Singapore will return to international cricket after three months of the gap, as they last played in Quadrangular T20 Series in Malaysia in December 2022. They lost all of their six games in the tournament and were poor in their recent 50-over games in CWC Challenge League Group A. They won just seven of 15 games and finished fourth in the Group A table.
