IB CC (IBC) will lock horns with Renegades (REN) in the 46th match of the KCC T20 Challengers Cup at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground in Kuwait on February 20. IB CC has played three matches where they have won two and are placed second in Group B while Renegades have been sensational to win all their three games and top the charts in Group B.
IB CC squared off against Rayan XI in their last encounter where IB CC won the toss and elected to bowl. The match was reduced to 15 overs a side due to the rain and Rayan started horribly as they were reduced to three for three. However, they recovered well from there as they managed to score 134 runs in the innings. IB CC started off really well and kept scoring at a brilliant pace. They won the game by three wickets on the very last ball of the game.
Renegades played against SBS CC in their last match where SBS CC won the toss and elected to bat. They had a really bad match with the bat as the batters looked rusty and kept playing the wrong shots. Salahuddin and Naser took three wickets each as they bowled out SBS CC for just 104. Renegades too did not start too well though as they lost their entire top order soon. It was the knock of Naser Fifire which did not just bring them back in the game but won the game by three wickets.
