India A (IND-A) will lock horns with Nepal (NEP) in the 8th match of the ACC Men’s Emerging Cup 2023 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on July 17. India completely decimated their opponents by chasing the target in almost half of the overs allotted. India won the match by eight wickets, with their captain, Yash Dhull, being awarded Player of the Match for his match-winning century.

Nepal had played against Pakistan A in their last game, where Nepal had won the toss and chose to bat. Winning the toss and choosing to bat did not go in their favor, as they were off to a horrible start and were tottering at six for 39 runs. Sompal Kami was the savior for Nepal down the order; he came to bat at nine and smashed 75 runs which helped Nepal post a decent total of 175. Pakistan A started decently and were scoring at a good pace. Even though they lost a few wickets in the process, Tayyab Tahir led the chase with his fifty, and Pakistan A won the match by four wickets.
