India (IND) will be up against England (ENG) in the 2nd Test of the England tour of India at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vishakhapatnam from February 2.
Both these teams had squared off against each other in the first match of the series which was played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad where England won the toss and elected to bat. After the openers gave a good start, and with skipper Stokes playing a good knock they were able to manage 246 runs on the board. India, in return, was simply brilliant right from the start. A complete team performance with the bat meant India posted a total of 436 runs and took the lead of 190.
England, in the third innings, were simply brilliant right from the start. It was Ollie Pope who turned the game around with his knock of 196 but was well aided by other players as they formed good partnerships with him and scored mammoth 420 runs which meant India had a huge target of 231 runs in the fourth innings. India had started well with skipper Rohit looking in complete control. Jaiswal looked scratchy and lost his wicket and they just kept losing one after the other. Bharat and Ashwin had a good partnership but could not take the team over the line and England won the game by 28 runs.

Player Picks
Ravichandran Ashwin IND | ALL
Ashwin would be the most crucial pick in the coming game keeping in mind that Jadeja has been ruled out of the match. He would be contributing from both ends hence making him the captain would be beneficial.
Rohit Sharma IND | BAT
Rohit is the skipper of the Indian side and in the absence of Kohli, Rahul and Jadeja, he would be coming with added responsibilities. He is expected to put up a great show with the bat.
Axar Patel IND | ALL
Axar has been terrific in Tests on the Indian soil with the ball as well as the bat. He could not contribute much in the last game but would be a perfect fit for captaincy roles.
Tom Hartley ENG | BOWL
Hartley was sensational in the last game as he went on to scalp nine wickets out of which he scalped seven in the second innings. He was more than helpful with the bat scoring 57 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah IND | BOWL
Bumrah was the most successful bowler from the Indian camp. He picked up six wickets with an economy of just 2.80 in the last match.
Joe Root ENG | BAT
Although Root could not contribute much with the bat in the last game, he was brilliant with the ball. He scalped away five wickets giving a total of 120 runs.
Ollie Pope ENG | BAT
Pope was rightly awarded Player of the Match for his brilliant performance with the bat. He amassed a total of 197 runs in the game which included a fabulous knock of 196.
Yashasvi Jaiswal IND | BAT
Jaiswal was in sublime touch in the first innings of India, giving the team an aggressive start. He scored 80 runs in that inning and would be looking to repeat the same in this game.
Srikar Bharat IND | WK
Bharat was fantastic with his glovework as usual, keeping for the likes of Ashwin, Jadeja and Axar. He had amassed a total of 69 runs in the match and can be a good budget pick for your team.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Dhruv Jurel
IND | WK
Jurel may not actually get a chance to get to playing Xi so it doesn't make sense to put him up on your team.
Zak Crawley
ENG | BAT
Crawley could not do much in the last game scoring a total of 51 runs in both innings. He can be left out of your fantasy team.
