India and Hong Kong will play the fourth match of the Asia Cup 2022 on Wednesday (August 31) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. India started their campaign with a win against Pakistan on Sunday. India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets after chasing a target of 148 runs in 19.4 overs. This will be the first T20I game betweeen India and Hong Kong. Both the teams have played two ODI matches both of which were won by India. Hong Kong gave a tough fight to India in the last game during the last edition of the Asia Cup. Hong Kong made 259 runs while chasing a total of 286 runs and lost the game by a mere margin of 26 runs.
Hong Kong have qualified to this tournament after coming through the Qualifier tournament. They defeated the likes of Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Singapore to find their place in the tournament. They will be playing in the Asia Cup for the fourth time since making their debut in 2004. Hong Kong have played a total of 6 matches in the tournament and have never managed to win a game.
