Player Picks
Rachin Ravindra NZ | ALL
He is just 13 runs away from scoring the most runs for New Zealand in an edition of the ODI World Cup. The 23-year-old all-rounder has scored 565 runs in nine games at an average of 70.62 and a strike rate of 108.44. He has hit three centuries and two half-centuries so far.
Shubman Gill IND | BAT
He is the current number one ODI batter in the ICC rankings. The Indian opener missed a well-deserved century the last time India played at the Wankhede and might look to achieve that number here.
Virat Kohli IND | BAT
He is just six runs away from scoring 600 runs in this edition of the World Cup and becoming only the third Indian batter to reach that number. He is 79 runs short of Sachin Tendulkar’s 673-run mark, which he achieved during the 2003 edition of the World Cup.
Rohit Sharma IND | BAT
The Indian captain has amassed 503 runs in nine games at an average of 55.88 and a strike rate of 121.49. Rohit has made one century and three half-centuries. He is 65 runs away from scoring 1000 runs in ODIs against New Zealand.
Mohammed Shami IND | BOWL
The pacer is just one five-wicket haul away from matching Zaheer Khan’s number of 21 wickets in a World Cup. He has already taken two fifers and might match the number of highest wickets by an Indian bowler in an edition of an ODI World Cup here.
Jasprit Bumrah IND | BOWL
He is four wickets away from picking 150 wickets in ODIs. Bumrah will become the joint second-fastest Indian bowler to reach this number if he takes the next four wickets against New Zealand.
Ravindra Jadeja IND | ALL
He has taken 16 wickets so far in nine games at an average of 18.25 and might be eyeing Zaheer Khan’s record of 21 wickets. This is already his best bowling performance in the ODI World Cup.
Daryl Mitchell NZ | ALL
Only three Kiwi batters have managed to make more than 500 runs in an edition of the World Cup. Mitchell is 82 runs away from becoming the fourth. He has made 418 runs in eight innings at an average of 59.71 and a strike rate of 110.58.
Kuldeep Yadav IND | BOWL
He will play his 100th ODI game for India against New Zealand. Kuldeep has picked 14 wickets so far in nine games at an average of 22.28.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Tim Southee
NZ | BOWL
He has played three games so far and has managed just four wickets. He can be avoided in this game.
Mark Chapman
NZ | ALL
He has been dismissed for a single-digit score in three out of his last five outings. Chapman might not be the best pick for your fantasy team.
