Average Score
Player Picks
Suryakumar Yadav IND | BAT
He has been the most successful Indian batter this year. He has scored 793 runs in 22 T20Is at an average of 41.73 and a strike rate of 185.28 including one century and six half-centuries. He has now scored the most amount of runs by an Indian batter in T20Is in a calendar year and is the highest ranked Indian batter in T20I rankings as well.
Rilee Rossouw SA | BAT
He returned to the international side this year his Kolpak deal ended last year. In five matches so far, the left-handed batter has scored 131 runs at an average of 32.75 and a strike rate of 163.75. He has failed to score a single run against India in this series as he was dismissed for a duck in both matches. However, he can still be considered as one of the best captaincy picks as he has a tremendous amount of experience and did play a key role for the Proteas against England this year.
Keshav Maharaj SA | BOWL
When the other bowlers were struggling against the Indian batters in the last game, Keshav Maharaj came to the rescue. He picked two wickets for 23 runs in four overs and was the only bowler who managed to pick a wicket in that game. In the first game, he played a similar role with the bat as he contributed 41 runs to South Africaās total of 106 runs. Maharaj made his international debut in 2016 and had to wait for almost five years to play his first T20I game. He is the third-highest wicket-taker for South Africa in this format in 2022.
Virat Kohli IND | BAT
He played an innings of 49 runs off just 28 deliveries in the last game and remained unbeaten. This was his second 40+ knock in the last five T20I matches. In 14 matches this year, he has made 485 runs and is likely to cross the 500-runs mark very soon. This would be the first time that he will score over 500 runs in a calendar year since 2016.
David Miller SA | BAT
He started this year with a knock of 64 runs off 31 deliveries against India and then his form dipped suddenly as he managed to score only 94 runs in the next eight innings. In the first game, Miller was dismissed for a duck. However, he announced his comeback to the form in a grand fashion with his innings of 106 runs off 47 deliveries in the last game and almost chased a target of 238 runs.
Quinton de Kock SA | WK
He also had a similar experience this year as David Miller. In eight innings this year prior to the last game, de Kock had managed to make a double-digit score thrice and had not scored more than 25 runs in any of these three innings. However, he changed all these statistics in the last game as he made 69 not-out off 48 deliveries.
Arshdeep Singh IND | BOWL
He won the Player of the Match award in the first game as he picked three wickets for 32 runs in four overs. In the last game, he picked two important wickets in his very first over of the match and pushed South Africa on the back foot. He gave away 21 runs from his first two overs and had picked two wickets. However, the ending was not at all smooth for the left-arm pacer as he conceded 62 runs in four overs and this became the second-worst bowling figure by an Indian bowler in T20Is.
KL Rahul IND | BAT
He won the Player of the Match award in the last game and provided a solid start to the team along with Rohit Sharma. The duo added 96 runs for the first wicket and Rahul scored the 20th half-century of his T20I career. He made 57 runs off 28 deliveries and this was his second back-to-back half-centuries.
Deepak Chahar IND | BOWL
He is one of the best swing bowlers that India have at their disposal currently. While all the other bowlers conceded runs at an economy of more than nine runs per over, Deepak Chahar completed his quota of four overs with just 24 runs which included a maiden first over of the match. In the first game, he picked two wickets for just 24 runs in four overs as well.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Rishabh Pant
IND | WK
He has done the work behind the wicket in the last two matches for India. However, he is yet to face a delivery in this series. He might not be the right choice as the wicketkeeper pick for this game.
Temba Bavuma
SA | BAT
He has been dismissed for a duck in both the matches and has managed to score only 61 runs in six T20I innings this year. Hence, it will be better to avoid him in your fantasy team for this match.
