India (IND) will be up against West Indies (WI) in the third ODI match of the India Tour of West Indies at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad on August 1. The teams have played two matches in the series where both the teams have won a match each, and the series is evenly poised for this decider. India did lose their last match but are still favourites to win the series.
Both these teams square off against each other at the Kensington Oval in their last game, where West Indies had won the toss and had elected to field. Coming with the highs of the last match, Indian Team decided to give rest to Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, and the younger players were given the chance to perform. India did have a brilliant start with an opening stand of 90 runs. Once the opening partnership was broken, India struggled to have a single good partnership further. Ishan Kishan was the only batter to leave his mark with his fantastic fifty. India was bowled out at a petty total of 181 runs.
Such a small target would never have been a challenging total for West Indies, but not being able to perform in the recent matches was haunting them. On the contrary, they actually managed to get a good start and had an opening stand of 53 runs. They lost a couple of wickets in quick succession, which felt like India was looking for a comeback, but it was all extinguished when Shai Hope and Keacy Carty joined hands to stitch together an unbeaten match-winning partnership of 91 runs. Shai Hope was adjudged Player of the Match for his fantastic contribution.

Player Picks
Ishan Kishan IND | WK
Kishan has been the most consistent player in the series so far. In the two matches, he has slammed two half-centuries and has been brilliant behind the stumps as well.
Shai Hope WI | WK
Hope has been leading his side from the front with his performances. He was adjudged Player of the Match for his fantastic knock in the last game. He can be a great option to captain your side as well.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Hardik Pandya
IND | ALL
Pandya has not done much in the series so far apart from picking up one wicket. You can leave him out in this game.
Shimron Hetmyer
WI | BAT
Hetmyer does not seem in too great of a form and has been able to score just 20 runs. He can be left out of your team.
