Ireland (IRE) will be up against India (IND) in the 1st T20I match of the India Tour of Ireland at Malahide in Dublin on August 18. Mark Adair played a fantastic innings of 72 but did not receive enough support from the other end, due to which they lost the match by eight runs.
India had played against West Indies in their last encounter, where India had won the toss and elected to bat. India did not start as they would have hoped for and lost their openers cheaply. Suryakumar and Tilak looked good on the pitch and scored a good amount of runs, but other batters did not contribute at all, which is why India could only manage 165 runs on the board. After losing a wicket early, West Indies did not look back as they had brilliant partnerships and smashed every bowler all around the park. They won the match comfortably by eight wickets.
