Karwan CC will lock horns with Gems Education CC in the 21st match of the ICCA Arabian T20 League at the ICC Academy in Dubai on February 13. Karwan have played one game this season so far, which they unfortunately lost, and are placed in the fifth position in the Group A of the points table. GED, on the other hand, have similar records to show and have played and lost the lone match so far but, due to better net run rate, are placed fourth in Group A.

Karwan, in their last match, faced Dubai Dare Devils, where they won the toss and elected to bat. They got a fantastic opening, with both their openers scoring 30 plus runs, but no other batter could contribute significantly, and hence Karwan could only score 146 for the loss of seven wickets. Dubai also faced a little difficulty chasing down the target, but their solid middle order came to the rescue and won the match with nine balls to spare. Eventually, Karwan lost the game by three wickets.

Gems squared off against Dubai Dare Devils in their last game, where they won the toss and elected to field. This match was a close last ball thriller where Dubai made a decent total of 163 for the loss of seven wickets. Gems were marching towards the target, but some quality bowling and a little luck interfered with the match going to the very last ball, after which Dubai came out victorious by just one run.
