After losing an early wicket, Marsa had a good second-wicket partnership, but unfortunately, after the partnership broke, they could not continue at the same pace and lost the game by nine runs.

Bugibba Blasters squared off against Red Stars in their last encounter, where Red Stars won the toss and elected to bat. Choosing to bat, they started aggressively but kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Tony Thomas played a quickfire innings in the middle when the scoring rate seemed to have slowed down, so they could easily post 107 runs. Blasters lost early wickets, and they lost them in a bunch but had always maintained a very high scoring rate. A couple of good contributions from a couple of players took them over the line, and they won the game by four wickets.
