They lost only two wickets and chased down the target with ten balls to spare. There were multiple heroes in the chase for rocks as they won by six wickets.

Matabeleland Tuskers squared off against the Lions in their last encounter, where Lions won the toss and chose to field. Tuskers started well and put up a strong total owing to a good batting performance from Clive Madande, their wicketkeeper. Macheka was the star performer with the ball, as he took four wickets in the match. The Lions started well with their top-order performance but scored at a lesser run rate than required. Then they started losing wickets too, and soon the chase went haywire, and they were left at a score of 155 runs at the loss of eight wickets after the end of 20 overs and hence losing the match by 15 runs.
