Rahmat Shah and Hashmatullah Shahidi then joined forces, constructing a crucial 74-run partnership for the third wicket. Hashmatullah Shahidi and Azmatullah Shahidi continued to build the innings, guiding Afghanistan to a convincing seven-wicket victory in 31.3 overs. Hashmatullah Shahidi finished with 56 runs off 64 deliveries, while Azmatullah Shahidi contributed 31 runs from 28 deliveries. Afghanistan's strong batting performance sealed the win.
