Mangaluru Dragons (MD) will face Mysore Warriors (MW) in the 27th match of the Maharaja Trophy 2024 on Wednesday, August 28, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Dragons have won just one out of eight games so far and are in last place in the points table. The Warriors have won five out of nine matches and are in third position.

The Dragons took on Hubli Tigers in their last outing and elected to bowl after winning the toss. The Tigers posted a total of 209 runs for the loss of three wickets on the board. The Dragons were bundled out for 167 runs and lost the match by 42 runs.

The Warriors’ last game was also against the Tigers. They won the match by 74 runs after posting a total of 191 runs for the loss of six wickets. Karun Nair starred with the bat and played an unbeaten knock of 80 runs off 48 deliveries. He won the Player of the Match award.
