Mumbai Indians Women will take on Delhi Capitals Women in the second match of the Women's Premier League. This match will be played at Kotambi Stadium. 32 matches will be played in the group stages. The top team in the leaderboard will directly qualify for the final. Teams in the following two positions will play against each other in the eliminator, the winner of which will face the top team in the table in the grand finale.

Delhi Capitals, led by Meg Lanning will be eyeing their maiden title. They were runners-up in the previous two editions and will be looking to go one better this time around. They have retained the core of the squad and made some good additions in the form of wicketkeeper Sarah Bryce. They have a good set of Indians with the likes of Shafali, Jemimah, Shikha and Radha Yadav and some very talented overseas players. 

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have already won the title a few years back against this same opposition. They will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur and have some of the top all-rounders in their ranks with the likes of Sciver Brunt, Hayley Matthews and Amelie Kerrr. Shabman Ismail will spearhead the pace bowling attack. Overall they look a balanced side. This promises to be an exciting match.
