Preview
New Zealand (NZ) will be up against Pakistan (PAK) in the third warm-up match of the ICC Cricket World Cup at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on September 29. New Zealand were not having a good time in this format when they decided This is going to be an important match for both these teams, getting acclimatised to the situations for the World Cup.
New Zealand had squared off against Bangladesh in their last match, where Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat. Will Young and Adam Milne both had a standout performance with the bat and the ball. Young led New Zealand to 175-3 by hitting 70 off 80 balls. The hosts were limited to 171 in 34.3 overs by Milne's 4-34. Najmul Hossain, the stand-in skipper for Bangladesh, scored the most runs with 76 but was unable to give the hosts a competitive total due to a lack of assistance at the other end after choosing to bat first. New Zealand had an easy win by seven wickets.
Pakistan had played against Sri Lanka in their last match, where Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat. Pakistan lost a wicket early but had a fantastic second-wicket partnership as well. Half-centuries from Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan propelled Pakistan towards a better position than they were in and garnered a total of 252 runs on the board. Sri Lanka were brilliant right from the start, and it seemed an easy win for Sri Lanka, but the twists were left for the end. They kept losing wickets towards the end but somehow were able to keep their calm and won the match by just two wickets.

Player Picks
Trent Boult NZ | BOWL
Boult made a sensational comeback for his side at the international stage recently. He can be a fine choice to lead your fantasy team.
Babar Azam PAK | BAT
Babar held onto his top spot in the rankings of this format and would be keen to perform and defend it. He can be another good pick for the same.
Shaheen Afridi PAK | BOWL
In recent matches, Shaheen has probably been the best match-winner for the Pakistani side. He has picked up 78 wickets in 40 games and can also be handy with the bat.
Kane Williamson NZ | BAT
Kane would be making a comeback on the field after months of missing out. He is the best batter from the Kiwi camp and every eyes would be glued on him.
Mohammad Rizwan PAK | WK
Rizwan has been scoring runs consistently and has amassed 1693 runs in 65 matches. He has been fine with skills behind the wickets and can fetch you plenty of points.
Ish Sodhi NZ | BOWL
Sodhi was simply phenomenal in the recent series with Bangladesh and would be keen on performing on the helping Indian soil. He could be a great budget pick for your team.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Mark Chapman
NZ | ALL
Chapman has failed to impress with his performances and can be left out for this match.
Tom Latham
NZ | WK
Latham has not been in too great of a form recently. It can be a wise decision to leave him out.
