New Zealand (NZ) will be up against South Africa (SA) in the 2nd Test of the South Africa tour of New Zealand at the Seddon Park in Hamilton from February 13. New Zealand seems to be in fantastic form in the recent matches in this format as they have simply been unbeatable. South Africa, on the other hand, have been fighting well as they have won three of their last five matches.
In the first match, South Africa won the toss and elected to field. Against a weak and inexperienced Proteas side, the Kiwis started poorly but Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra put up a great stand to take the team to a mammoth total of 511 where Kane smashed a century while Rachin brought up his maiden double century. In return, the young Proteas side had no replies and failed to stitch partnerships due to which they were bowled out for just 162, conceding a deficit of 349.
New Zealand started the third innings with a huge advantage, and they kept on adding to it. Similar to the first innings, the openers did not start well again, but Kane Williamson held the fort again as he hit twin centuries in the match. They declared the innings on a score of 179, setting up an insane target of 529 runs. South Africa did a much better job this time around with the bat as David Bedingham played a good knock of 87 but as expected this was never going to be enough and they lost the game by a huge margin of 281 runs.

Player Picks
Rachin Ravindra NZ | ALL
Rachin Ravindra was rightly awarded Player of the Match in the last game as he brought up his maiden Double Century of the format. He can rightly be made captain of your fantasy side.
Kane Williamson NZ | BAT
Williamson, in yet another match made yet another record as he got his name in the rare list of twin centuries in the same match. It would be a wise decision to make him captain of your team for the coming game.
Neil Brand SA | ALL
Neil was the most successful bowler of the two sides in the last game. He picked up a total of eight wickets where he had an economy of 4.38.
David Bedingham SA | BAT
David was the lone batter from the Proteas side who looked comfortable on the pitch. He played a good knock in the fourth innings and amassed a total of 119 runs in the game.
Mitchell Santner NZ | ALL
Santner could not do much with the bat in the first innings but was impressive with the ball. Bowling tightly, he did not allow any extra runs and scalped six wickets in the game.
Kyle Jamieson NZ | BOWL
Jamieson bowled brilliantly in the game as he too picked up six wickets in the last encounter. His prowess with the bat is well known in this format as well.
Matt Henry NZ | BOWL
Henry did a great job as he took away four wickets with an economy of 2.56 in the last match. He had scored 27 runs with the bat as well in the first innings.
Ruan de Swardt SA | ALL
Swardt contributed to his team on both fronts. He amassed a total of three wickets and 34 runs in the last encounter and can be a handy pick for your fantasy side.
Devon Conway NZ | BAT
Conway could not perform well in the last game and impact much but he is too good a player to produce multiple failures in a row. He could be a well-performing asset in this match.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Tshepo Moreki
SA | BOWL
Moreki was very ineffective with the bat as well as the ball in the last game. He can be left out of your fantasy team.
Duanne Olivier
SA | BOWL
Olivier could only contribute a total of 16 runs in both innings of the match. He should not find a place in your fantasy side.
