The Pretoria Capitals (PC) are all set to turn their fortunes against the Durban Super Giants (DSG) in the fifth game of the SA20 League, slated to take place on January 12 at SuperSport Cricket Stadium, Centurion. The DSG are in the second spot of the points table after winning their first game of the tournament. On the flip side, the Capitals are at the bottom half of the points table after suffering defeat in their recent game.

The two sides faced off in the second game of the showpiece event and showcased their stellar batting performances at Kingsmead in Durban. After batting first, DSG posted a huge total of 209/4 thanks to blistering performances from Kane Williamson and Wiam Mulder, who hammered 60 and 45*, respectively, to post the challenging total.

However, in reply to that, the Capitals showcased their great form with opening batters Will Jacks and Rahmanullah Gurbaz showcasing their batting prowess, having made 64 and 89 runs, respectively. Despite that, the side fell short by two runs and lost their opening encounter.

Notably, DSG will be looking to maintain their dominating form against PC as Keshav Maharaj and his men look for their second victory in this game. On the other hand, Rile Rossouw and his team seek redemption for their previous defeat heading into their second blockbuster game.
