They further lost wickets and had to slow down a little, but some late flourish towards the end helped them reach an average total of 79 runs. The Explorers had a horrible start, losing both their openers on ducks and losing three more wickets in quick succession. They could never recover from this setback and lost the game by a close margin of eight runs.
