Quetta Gladiators (QUE) will lock horns with Karachi Kings (KAR) in the 22nd match of the Pakistan Super League 2024 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on March 6. Quetta Gladiators have won four of their six games so far and are ranked second in the table while Karachi Kings have won just two so far and are ranked fifth so far.
Quetta Gladiators had played against Islamabad United in their last encounter which was held at the same venue but the match had to be called off due to persistent rain. The match was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Karachi Kings had played against Multan Sultans in their last encounter where Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bat. Sultans did not start well yet again, losing their first wicket at the score of 16 but were brought well back into the game by a fantastic second-wicket partnership. Mohammad Rizwan and Usman Khan joined hands to put up a partnership worth 148 runs in the next 15.3 overs. Rizwan scored yet another half-century in the league and perished while Usman Khan kept going until the end without getting out as he reached out to his ton. These knocks helped Multan post a huge total of 189. Karachi did try and keep pace with the chase but they kept losing wickets one after the other. None of the batters put their name up and took the responsibility as a result of which they fell short of the target by 20 runs.

Player Picks
Jason Roy QUE | BAT
One of the best batters of the tournament, Roy should be an obvious choice for leadership roles. He has smashed 200 runs from just five matches at a strike rate of 152.67.
Kieron Pollard KAR | ALL
Pollard has joined back the team and they would be in relief now as their highest scorer is back on the side. He is a runaway match-winner who can finish matches on his own.
Abrar Ahmed QUE | BOWL
Abrar has been breathing fire with the ball as he has scalped 10 wickets in just five games. He should be another brilliant choice for the captaincy position.
Shoaib Malik KAR | BAT
Shoaib is a veteran of the format and is probably the most experienced player. He has scored 177 runs in this tournament so far with two wickets to his name too.
Akeal Hosein QUE | BOWL
Akeal is a quality all-rounder who can win you matches from both ends. He has scalped eight wickets in five matches where he has scored 48 runs too.
Hasan Ali KAR | BOWL
Hasan has been doing a great job with the ball so far scalping nine wickets in just six matches. He has picked up nine wickets in six matches and can swing his bat too.
Saud Shakeel QUE | BAT
Saud is an explosive batter who has been striking the ball well. He has smashed 164 runs at a strike rate of 150.46 in five matches so far.
Sherfane Rutherford QUE | BAT
Sherfane has easily been one of the best finishers this season. Striking the ball at 152.69, he has smashed 142 runs which is inclusive of six boundaries and 10 huge sixes.
Shan Masood KAR | BAT
Shan has not been able to be present to the standards he holds. In six matches so far, he has only been able to score 117 runs but would be expected to do a much better job here.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Muhammad Akhlaq
KAR | WK
Akhlaq has not looked good so far in the tournament. He can be left out of your fantasy team.
Leus du Plooy
KAR | BAT
Plooy has played two games but has looked rusty in these matches. He should not find a place in your team.
