Melbourne Renegades (REN) will take on Brisbane Heat (HEA) in the 38th match of the BBL 2025. This match will be played at Docklands Stadium in Melbourne. Melbourne Renegades are bottom of the table with three wins in nine matches. They lost the previous match against the Hurricanes. On the other hand, Brisbane Heat have three wins in nine matches and are placed fifth in the points table.

Melbourne Renegades have made three changes ahead of Saturday's clash with the Brisbane Heat with Kane Richardson, Mackenzie Harvey and Oliver Peake coming into the squad for Jacob Bethell, Marcus Harris and Sam Elliott. The Renegades remain alive in the BBL 14 finals hunt, the club needing to defeat the Heat and other results go their way to finish as high as fourth and play in Tuesday's Qualifier.

This is a must win game for the Brisbane Heat  and spinner Matt Kuhnemann will miss tomorrow’s game with a thumb injury while the likes of Khawaja and Marnus also will not be available for the game. Captain Colin Munro returns to the line-up after missing the last game and the Heat will be looking to put up a good performance and keep their playoff hopes alive.
