Batting first, DC, led by Rishabh Pant, managed to set a decent target of 175 runs in their 20 overs. A collective effort from the top order and Abishek Porel's final burst proved crucial for them. But, on the back of Sam Curran's brilliant half-century, Shikhar Dhawan and his team overcame the target with four balls to spare.
For the Royals, captain Sanju Samson was the key to getting them to a competitive total of 193/4. The right-handed batter smashed a blazing 82 off 52, while Riyan Parag also contributed with a 29-ball 43. Nicholas Pooran and skipper KL Rahul toiled for LSG, but an impressive bowling effort, especially from Sandeep Sharma, restricted them to 173/6.

Player Picks
Yashasvi Jaiswal RR | BAT
The young opener has been performing well in all formats of the game and is in good rhythm in the IPL as well. Jaiswal scored a quick-fire 24 runs in the last match.
David Warner DC | BAT
The three-time Orange Cap winner and the backbone of the DC batting unit. David Warner is known for his ability to anchor the innings as well as accelerate when the situation calls for it.
Sanju Samson RR | WK
Sanju Samson is in red hot form and is one of the top contenders for the captaincy role. The wicketkeeper-batter has been a consistent performer for Royals and he started the series with a bang (82 off 54 balls vs LSG).
Jos Buttler RR | WK
No introduction needed for this man. One of the most destructive batters in limited-overs cricket, Buttler must be a sure pick in your XI. The 2022 Orange Cap winner had a poor start, but he could make up for it in the remaining matches.
Trent Boult RR | BOWL
Give him the new ball and at least one wicket is guaranteed in the opening over. Trent Boult is lethal in the powerplay with his accuracy and swing. He took two wickets in the last match.
Kuldeep Yadav DC | BOWL
Kuldeep Yadav is currently India's most reliable spinner. He was impressive in the first match, picking up two wickets for just 20 runs in four overs. The left-arm wrist spinner is likely to continue his fine form .
Riyan Parag RR | BAT
Riyan Parag was promoted up the batting order and it turned out to be a good decision as he played a crucial knock in RR's win against LSG. The right-handed batter scored 43 runs off 29 balls, including three sixes and a four.
Yuzvendra Chahal RR | BOWL
An XI without the tournament's leading wicket-taker? No way. Chahal has the ability to deliver crucial breakthroughs and he has been doing the job for years - previously for RCB and now for RR.
Axar Patel DC | ALL
Axar Patel has been a great asset to DC over the few years. His all-round brilliance can earn you good points in fantasy contests. Notably, the southpaw scored a quick-fire 21 runs in the last match.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Rishabh Pant
DC | WK
There is no doubt about the caliber of this flamboyant wicketkeeper-batter. Pant made his comeback after 14 months in Delhi's first match against PBKS. It might take him a few innings to regain his old rhythm.
Sumit Kumar
DC | ALL
The uncapped Indian all-rounder did not had a good debut in the last match. He couldn't make an impact in either department, so dropping him from your team would be a wise call.
