Yashasvi Jaiswal RR | BAT
Indiaās latest batting sensation, Yashasvi Jaiswal, had a stellar IPL 2023 campaign. The left-handed batter scored the fastest half-century in the history of IPL. With two Test double tons under his belt, the youngster is on cloud nine. Ahead of the crucial T20 World Cup selection phase, Yashasvi Jaiswal will look to keep his good run going with the bat.
KL Rahul LSG | BAT
Despite being sidelined due to injury for nearly a month, KL Rahul will be ready for the IPL 2024 season. The 31-year-old has been cast aside in the T20I format for the last two years. KL Rahul has been excellent in the IPL and has been a consistent performer with the bat. The veteran batter knows that this IPL 2024 is his only chance to knock on the doors of Indian selection for the T20I World Cup tournament.
Sanju Samson RR | WK
Rajasthan Royals' skipper Sanju Samson embarks on a huge season of IPL. The 29-year-old finally seems to have become a key part of the Indian team after years of struggle. His century early this year has made him a strong contender for his name to be considered for the World Cup. If Sanju Samson wants to tour West Indies and USA, he must put in yet another big season with the bat. This will dethrone the likes of Ishan Kishan and Jitesh Sharma out of contention.
Devdutt Padikkal LSG | BAT
India found a new match winner in the form of Devdutt Padikkal after his splendid Test debut. The lanky left-handed batter is finally finding his run scoring touch as he has been in red hot form so far. While an India recall in the white ball format is far off. Devdutt Padikkal will be looking to make a huge impact during the IPL 2024 season.
Nicholas Pooran LSG | WK
There is no batter who is as dangerous as Nicolas Pooran in the T20 format currently. The West Indian star has the ability to score runs at a quick pace and dent the opposition. He was one of the best LSG players during the IPL 2023 season with his blazing willow. Justin Langer will hope that Nicky P can keep his form going to help his side win the title this year.
Dhruv Jurel RR | WK
Young Dhruv Jurel was the talk of the cricketing world after his heroics in the Ranchi Test. The 23-year-old shot to fame last year when he made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals. Jurel has the ability to play 360 degree cricket and is also a world-class wicketkeeper.
Yuzvendra Chahal RR | BOWL
Once the lynchpin of Indian spin bowling, Yuzvendra Chahal has found himself in cold storage for the last 12 months. The 33-year-old has become an Indian cricket afterthought as he been snubbed from the yearly contracts as well. Chahal though is a class performer and will not drop the towel so fast. The 33-year-old leggie will want to put in a good season and make it back to the Indian side.
Quinton de Kock LSG | WK
South African star Quinton De Kock didn't have a great time with the bat during the recent SA20 tournament. The former South African wicketkeeper is still a dangerous batter as he showed during the ODI World Cup 2023. Despite struggling for game time last year, Quinton De Kock will get a look in. KL Rahulās injury means that de Kock will be the first choice wicketkeeper for his side.
Trent Boult RR | BOWL
Once a feared bowler with the new-ball and a great death bowler, Trent Boult has seen his powers wane a bit. His struggles in the last two games against Australia not-withstanding Trent Boult is still a fine bowler and has retained most of his skills with the ball.

Krunal Pandya
LSG | ALL
Once a key member of the Mumbai Indians side, Krunal Pandya has lost his way with Lucknow Super Giants. With an Indian recall not in the anvil, Krunal Pandya will look to have a good season in the IPL. The veteran all-rounder has been inconsistent with the bat and ball in recent times.
Avesh Khan
RR | BOWL
The 27-year-old seamer Avesh Khan will take on his former side in his debut for Rajasthan Royals on Sunday. The right-arm pacer played in the third T20I against Afghanistan in Bengaluru and had a forgettable game. With figures of 1/55 from 4 overs, Avesh Khan is under pressure to rediscover his bowling form.
