In their recent encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Knight Riders experienced a shaky start, losing two wickets during the powerplay. However, Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana stabilized the innings with a 48-run partnership for the third wicket. After reaching the 120-run mark, KKR lost a few more wickets, eventually finishing with a total of 149 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal delivered an exceptional performance, claiming four wickets for just 25 runs in his four overs.

In response, Rajasthan Royals lost their first wicket in the second over when Jos Buttler was dismissed. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson joined forces and guided RR to victory in just 13.1 overs. Jaiswal played a remarkable innings, scoring 98 runs off just 47 deliveries, contributing significantly to Rajasthan Royals' successful chase.

RCB suffered defeats in their last two matches, including their most recent encounter against Mumbai Indians. While batting first, they put a total of 199 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs on the board. Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell both reached half-centuries, forging a crucial partnership of 120 runs for the third wicket after RCB lost two early wickets. Dinesh Karthik also contributed with a quickfire knock of 30 runs off just 18 deliveries, providing the team with a strong finish.

However, Mumbai Indians showcased their batting prowess and chased down the target comfortably in just 16.3 overs. Suryakumar Yadav played a blistering innings, smashing 83 runs off a mere 35 deliveries, propelling MI to victory.
