South African Women (SA-W) are all set to lock horns against England Women (ENG-W) in the third and final ODI match of the ongoing series, slated to take place on December 11 at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom. The hosts won the series-opening game by six wickets, but the English side bounced back in the second game to level the series with a six-wicket win.

The Proteas will aim to win the upcoming game to seal the series after losing the T20I leg. On the other hand, Heather Knight & Co. will hope to win this forthcoming encounter to clinch the One-Dayers before moving onto the red-ball format.

In the previous match, the Proteas were bundled out for a paltry score of 135. The side lost Tazmin Brits and Sune Luus early in the game. After their dismissals, skipper Laura Wolvaardt and star batter Annerie Dercksen chipped in 35 and 29 runs, respectively, before Chloe Tryon made 45 to help the team's cause.

In reply to that, Tammy Beaumont and Maia Bouchier gave a great start to the visitors, stitching a 69-run opening stand. Later, Dyani Wyatt scored the winning runs and guided England to win the game by six wickets to level up the series.
