They slowed down a little in the middle overs but with a good finish, they put up a total of 163 runs. Scorpions, in return, started decently and had good partnerships for the first three wickets but those runs came at a much slower rate. When it was time to up the ante, they started to lose wickets and lost the game by nine runs.

Belapur Blasters had played against Vashi Warriors in their last encounter, where Vashi Warriors won the toss and elected to field. Blasters failed to have a good day on the field with the bat as all their batters struggled. A few of their batters got starts but failing to convert them, they only got 129 runs on the board. In an attempt to start aggressively, they lost two wickets early but had a steady partnership for the third wicket which lasted for 92 runs. With a fifty from Sachin Yadav, they easily cruised to win the game by seven wickets.
