South Australia will lock horns with New South Wales in the 11th match of The Marsh Cup at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide on October 20. South Australia has not really done too well so far, not being able to win any of their three matches, and are languishing at the bottom of the table. New South Wales, on the other hand, has won just one of their three games and are placed fourth in the rankings.

South Australia had played off against Tasmania in their last match, where South Australia won the toss and elected to bowl. On a belter of a track, it was a run-fest for both these teams as a total of 833 runs were scored in the match. Batting first, Tasmania posted an unbelievable total of 435 runs on the board, owing to contributions from the whole team. South Australia did not back off from such a massive total and tried their best. Several of their batters contributed and scored well, but they kept losing wickets, as a result of which they were bowled out in the end and lost by 37 runs.

New South Wales had played off against Queensland in their last encounter, where Queensland won the toss and elected to bowl. Wales had a sloppy start being put to bat first, as they lost two wickets just at the score of four runs. The pair of Daniel Hughes and Moises Henriques saved the day for them as they put up a decent partnership, which led their team to a total of 217 runs. Queensland started much better than their counterparts but kept losing wickets. They had lost nine wickets at 146, but a miraculous partnership for the 10th wicket won them the match by the end.
