The Lions took on Mysore Warriors in their first outing this season and elected to bowl after winning the toss. The Warriors posted a total of 159 runs for the loss of eight wickets. The highest individual score came from Manoj Bhandage, who remained unbeaten on 42 runs off 16 balls. On the bowling front, Hardik Raj, Pradeep T, and Avinash D were the standout bowlers for the Lions and two wickets each. The match was reduced to nine overs due to rain and the Lions got a target of 88 runs. Abhinav Manohar had a dominant outing with the bat and remained unbeaten on 52 runs off 29 deliveries. No other batter scored more than 15 runs for the team. The Lions finished with 80 runs for the loss of five wickets and lost the match by seven runs.

The Dragons’ last game was against the Hubli Tigers, where the Tigers elected to bowl after winning the toss. The Dragons scored 143 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Krishnamurthy Siddharth scored 44 runs off 27 deliveries. LR Kumar was the pick of the bowlers and took three wickets for 30 runs in three overs. The Tigers scored 69 runs for the loss of one wicket in 5.1 overs and won the match by 15 runs.
