JK Super Strikers will lock horns with Agri Kings Knights in the second semi-final match of the Sher E Punjab T20 Cup 2023 at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on July 28. JK Super Strikers have won seven games from 10 that they have played and finished the league stage in second place. Agri Kings Knights, on the other hand, played ten matches where they won six and were in third place after the end of the group stage.

JK Super Strikers had squared off against Hampton Falcons in their last match, where Hampton Falcons had won the toss and elected to bowl. It was a good day on the field for Strikers as after a decent start, Sanvir Singh came down to bat at three and bashed every opposition bowler. He went on to score his unbeaten century and helped his team post a huge total of 190 runs. The Falcons fought back brilliantly and did not back off from such a total. They were going ahead at a good pace but kept losing wickets at regular intervals, due to which they fell short of 15 runs in the end, and JK Super Strikers won the match.

Agri Kings Knights had played against JK Super Strikers in their last encounter, where the toss was won by JK Super Strikers, who had chosen to bowl. Knights started decently, although they were quite slow in their approach. The runs seemed to dry up in the middle overs completely, but owing to some good finish, they posted a decent total of 129 runs on the board. Strikers started slow as well but did not lose too many wickets in the process. Sanvir Singh and Anmol Malhotra played some great shots, and their quickfire innings helped JK Super Strikers chase down the total with 15 balls to spare and win the match by eight wickets.
