Stars faced Hobart Hurricanes in their last match and elected to bowl after winning the toss. Hurricanes were bundled out for 155 runs in 19.4 overs. Caleb Jewell, Macalister Wright, and Nikhil Chaudhary played crucial roles for the team with the bat. Jewell was the highest scorer for the team with 45 runs off 37 deliveries. Haris Rauf and Glenn Maxwell took three wickets each for the Stars. The second innings got reduced to seven overs and the revised target was 67 runs. Maxwell remained unbeaten on 35 runs off 18 deliveries and helped the team cross the line along with Thomas Rogers. Rogers made 21 runs off 14 deliveries. Stars won the match in 6.3 overs with seven wickets in hand.

Strikers faced Melbourne Renegades in their last game and elected to bat after winning the toss. They posted a total of 177 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. D Arcy Short and Chris Lynn scored a half-century each for the team. Mujeeb ur Rahman was the pick of the bowlers and took three wickets for 20 runs in four overs. Jake Fraser-McGurk and Shaun Marsh helped the Renegades win their first game of the season by four wickets in 18.4 overs. McGurk scored 70 runs off 37 deliveries and Marsh scored 54 runs off 33 deliveries.
