Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SUNE) will take on MI Cape Town (MICT) in the 20th match of SA20 2024 on Saturday (January 27) at St George's Park in Gqeberha. Eathan Bosch took one wicket for 11 runs in four overs for the Capitals and won the Player of the Match award.
MI faced the Durban Super Giants in their last game and elected to bowl after winning the toss. Matthew Breetzke scored 48 runs off 46 deliveries for the Super Giants and was the highest scorer. Super Giants posted a total of 157 runs for the loss of six wickets. Thomas Kaber and George Linde took two wickets each for MI. MI managed just 121 runs for the loss of nine wickets and lost the match by 36 runs. Noor Ahmad and Marcus Stoinis took three wickets each for the Super Giants.
