Sussex will lock horns with Glamorgan in the 37th match of the English One Day Cup 2023 at the County Ground in Hove on August 13. Sussex has played three matches so far which they have lost all and are at the bottom of the table. Glamorgan, on the other hand, have played four matches where they have won just one and are sixth in the rankings.
Sussex had squared off against Somerset in their last encounter where the toss was won by Somerset and they elected to bat. Somerset made a decent start but lost three wickets in rather quick succession. That is when Andrew Umeed and Curtis Campher joined hands to put up a great partnership of 163 runs for the fourth wicket. A brilliant finish meant they had 316 runs on the board. Sussex, in reply, had a complete team effort with a century from Cheteshwar Pujara which proved to be match-winning. Sussex won the match by four wickets.
Glamorgan had played against Warwickshire in their last match where Glamorgan had won the toss and decided to field. Warwickshire had a dreamy start with their opening stand lasting for 188 runs. The openers played brilliantly and were accompanied by some good performances from the middle order as well due to which they could score 331 runs. Glamorgan did not start well but had four back-to-back fifties however none of them could stay and turn into a bigger total. They kept losing wickets regularly as well due to which they were bowled out for 307 and lost the match by 24 runs.

Player Picks
Cheteshwar Pujara SUS | BAT
Pujara has been one of the best batters of the tournament with 302 runs in four matches under his belt. He has already slammed two centuries and could be the best pick to lead your team.
Benjamin Kellaway GLA | ALL
Kellaway is a quality all-rounder and making him captain of your team can benefit you quite a lot. He has amassed 149 runs and six wickets in just three matches.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Tom Clark
SUS | BAT
Clark has played all four matches but has been able to score just 75 runs so far. He should not find a place in your team.
Oliver Carter
SUS | WK
Carter has been trying but has not been able to impress much. He should not be picked up in your fantasy team.
