Swieqi United will lock horns with Edex Knights in the 2nd match of the ECS Malta T10 at the Marsa Sports Club in Malta on November 6. This will be the second game of the day for both teams against each other.

Swieqi United squared off against Royal Strikers in their last encounter, where Royal Strikers won the toss and elected to bat. The start did not go as per the plan, losing three wickets in just four overs and scoring 16 runs. Captain Priyan played an important captain’s knock, where he smashed 48 runs and took the team’s total to 94 runs. In reply, Swieqi United lost an early wicket with their Captain Anil Qadir losing out on a duck, but an unbeaten second wicket partnership made it a cakewalk for them as they won by nine wickets.

Edex Knights squared off against Bugibba Blasters in their last encounter, where Edex Knights won the toss and elected to bat. On a decent batting track and choosing to bat first, they started aggressively, and even though they lost a couple of wickets early, the scoring rate did not drop. As a result, by the end of the innings, they could put up a total of 96 runs on the board. Blasters did not start the chase well and kept losing wickets one after the other. Their lower order did try and score runs, but it proved to be too little too late, and they lost the game by 11 runs.
