Preview

Sylhet Strikers (SYL) will take on Rangpur Riders (RAN) in the fourth match of the Bangladesh Premier League. This match will be played at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Seven teams will contest for the BPL crown as Fortune Barishal heads into the 2024/25 season as defending champions. The Barishal won their maiden title last season. Meanwhile, the now-defunct Comilla Victorians have been the most successful side in the completion - with four titles.

In this format the top four teams at the end of the group stage will qualify for the knockout rounds. The top-two teams will face off in the Qualifier 1, while the third and fourth placed teams clash in the eliminator. The winner of the Qualfier 1 will go through the final.

The loser of the Qualifier 1 will face the winner of the Eliminator in the Qualifier 2. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will face the Qualifier 1 winner in the BPL 2024/25 final. Both these squads have plenty of good players and this promises to be an exciting match.
