Gandaki Province had played against Madhesh Province in their last match, where Madhesh Province won the toss and elected to bat. They made the most of having won the toss after losing the first wicket early as Anil Kumar Sah struck a sensational century. He was well aided by other batters around him which took the team total to a grand 335 runs. Gandaki started well with the opening stand worth 50 runs. They had several batters who got starts but all of them failed to capitalise on it ahead forward as they were bowled out for just 190 and lost the game by a huge 145 runs.
