Team Abu Dhabi and The Chennai Braves will lock horns against each other in the fourth match of the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2023 on Wednesday (November 29) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Team Abu Dhabi, part of Abu Dhabi T10 since 2019, finished third last season, led by Chris Lynn. This season, Dwaine Pretorius replaces Lynn, with three players retained, including Alex Hales. New additions include T20 freelancer Collin Ingram and UAE players Alishan Sharafu, Asif Khan, and Ethan D’Souza. Batters Tom Banton and Leus du Plooy, Caribbean all-rounders Keemo Paul and Kyle Mayers, and in-form Roelof van der Merwe strengthen the squad. The pace attack features Tymal Mills, Binura Fernando, and Rumman Raees, while Noor Ahmad provides spin options.

Chennai Braves debuted in the Abu Dhabi T10 League in 2021. They won only two of seven games and finished second-last in the previous edition. Charith Asalanka replaces Sikandar Raza as captain. Jason Roy, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, and Stephen Eskinazi bolster the batting, while George Munsey and Kai Smith add depth. Imran Tahir brings experience, joined by spinner Aayan Afzal Khan. Hasan Ali leads the pace attack with Obed McCoy, Richard Ngarava, Samuel Cook, and Junaid Siddique. Cook is the sole returning bowler. The team will aim for an improved performance in the upcoming season.
