Tanzania will be up against Uganda in the 15th match of the East Africa Cup 2023 at the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Rwanda on August 30. Tanzania have played nine games, winning four, and are second in the rankings. Uganda, on the other hand, have won as many as nine of their ten matches and leads the points table.

Both these teams had squared off against one another in their last encounter, where Uganda elected to bat after winning the toss. They started well with an opening stand of 32 runs from four overs. But within a span of 11 runs, they lost three wickets, which was supposed to push them back. But that did not happen, as the middle-order batters played a counter-attacking game of cricket. None of the batters could score a fifty, but the team managed to put up a huge total of 180 runs on the board.

Tanzania started a little but was cautious in its approach. They did not score too many runs but also did not lose wickets either. Once their opening stand broke, they lost three wickets within a span of 18 runs but had a fantastic fourth-wicket partnership to bring them back into the game. The pair of Amal Rajeevan and Shaik Basha added 48 runs, but as soon as they were gone, other batters could not keep up as well, and soon they were bowled out at a mere total of 121 runs. Uganda won the match by a big margin of 59 runs.
"

Player Picks
Alpesh Ramjani UGA | ALL
Ramjani has simply been magical in this tournament, amassing not just 235 runs but 21 wickets as well in just nine games. You should not look away while trying to find a captain for your side.
Kenneth Waiswa UGA | BAT
Waiswas has been another good all-rounder and so another good pick for captaincy roles. He has picked up 19 wickets while scoring 190 runs in 10 matches.
Roger Mukasa UGA | WK
Mukasa has been in good touch in this tournament, where he has scored 258 runs at a strike rate of 149.13 in 10 matches. He has been helpful with his fielding skills as well.
Abhik Patwa TZN | BAT
Patwa has been the one to score the most runs in the tournament so far, with 289 runs to his name. He has smashed two half-centuries in these matches.
Brian Masaba UGA | BAT
Brian has scored 111 runs at a strike rate of 165..67 from seven innings of nine matches. He has scalped four wickets as well in these matches and can be a handy pick for the team.
Ally Kimote TZN | BOWL
Kimote has picked up nine wickets with an economy of 8.23 in nine matches so far. He has also scored 70 runs in these matches and could be a good budget pick.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Pascal Murungi
UGA | ALL
Pascal has played six matches where he has been able to score just 24 runs and so should not be picked up in your fantasy team.
Cyrus Kakuru
UGA | WK
Cyrus has been able to score 39 runs while playing eight matches so far. He should be dropped from your team.
