Originals did not start well, losing both their openers cheaply but had a few fantastic partnerships from the middle order, so they could put up a substantial total of 182 runs. Superchargers started well with their chase, but the middle order did not follow the game set up by the top order, and hence by the end, they could only score 141 runs and lost the match by 40 runs.
