With an aggressive approach, the Chargers looked good from the start and kept scoring at a good rate. Ben Dunk led the attack and scored a fantastic fifty in the process. They scored 124 runs by the end of the first innings. The Riders did not start well and never actually got going. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and could only score 109 runs, hence losing the match by 22 runs.

Morrisville Unity had played against New York Warriors in their last match, where New York Warriors had won the toss and elected to bat. The Warriors did not waste a single ball and had an aggressive approach right from the start. After their opener gave them a brilliant start, their middle order took over and scored further. They were able to put up 139 runs on the board as a result. Morrisville started rather well and looked good. They did not lose too many wickets but somehow were not able to find the needed boundaries, due to which they could manage to score 106 runs and lose the match by 33 runs.
