UAE will be up against New Zealand (NZ) in the third T20I match of the New Zealand Tour of the UAE at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on August 20. Both the teams have already played two games, and the series is placed very well, with each team winning a game. This third game will be the tie-breaker and decide who will take the series away.
These teams had squared off against each other in the last match at the same venue where UAE had won the toss and elected to field. New Zealand did not start too well, scoring just 14 runs for their opening partnership. Even their middle order could not contribute much to their already sinking innings. Mark Chapman, who came to bat at five, was the lone batter who looked to stay on the crease. He was accompanied by James Neesham, with whom he made a significant partnership and pushed the team to a decent total of 142 runs for the loss of eight wickets.
Emirates did not start well with their innings as they lost their opener, Aryansh Sharma, on a duck. The captain Muhammad Waseem was joined by wicketkeeper Vritiya Aravind who stitched together a good partnership lasting 40 runs. Asif Khan also had a brilliant stand with Muhammad Waseem for the third wicket, which proved to be a match-winning one. UAE won the match comfortably by seven wickets with more than four overs to spare. UAE shocked everyone with this win over New Zealand, and now the Kiwis need to work hard to name the series in their favour.

Player Picks
Tim Southee NZ | BOWL
Southee is probably the most experienced player between both teams and has been the most successful as well. He has scalped six wickets in these two matches and should lead your team.
Mitchell Santner NZ | ALL
Santner has been spinning the ball well to keep the batters in check. He has picked up three wickets at an economy of 6.86 in two matches and has been a gun fielder as well.
James Neesham NZ | ALL
Neesham has been doing a great job on both fronts scoring 46 runs and scalping two wickets in two matches. He could make another good captaincy pick for the team.
Avoid Having These Players In Your Fantasy Sports Team
Ansh Tandon
UAE | BAT
Tandon has failed to impress so far in the series scoring just 12 runs. He can be dropped out of your team.
Dane Cleaver
NZ | WK
Cleaver has just been able to score four runs batting in both matches. He should not find a place in your fantasy side.
