Vidarbha will lock horns with Madhya Pradesh in the first semi-final of Ranji Trophy 2024 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Saturday (March 2). Both sides will look to grab that spot in the final.

Vidarbha played quarter-final 1 against Karnataka, where they posted 460 in the first innings. Atharva Taide was the top scorer with 109 runs. Vidwath Kaverappa picked up four wickets. They restricted Karnataka to 286, as Aditya Sarvate and Yash Thakur picked up three wickets each. Vidarbha scored 196 in the second innings and gave the target of 371 to Karnataka. They restricted Karnataka to 243 runs and won the match by 127 runs.

Madhya Pradesh played quarter-final 4 against Andhra, where they were able to score 234 in the first innings. Yash Dubey scored 64 runs off 133 balls. Their bowlers restricted Andhra to 172 in the first innings. Anubhav Agarwal and Kumar Kartikeya grabbed three wickets each. Madhya Pradesh was able to score 107 in the second innings. They restricted Andhra to 165 and won the game by four runs.
